We were asked by a resident in Westbury to provide a quote for removing a mature beech tree in the garden of the house they had just moved into. Nick Cranston (managing director) and Adam Roberts (senior arborist) removed the canopy of the tree using a combination of freefall and careful rigging techniques to avoid any damage to property.
Three quarters of the canopy has been removed at this point.
A limb being carefully lowered to the ground.
Canopy removed, Adam has installed a cable to assist with the felling of the trunk.
The trunk was leaning away from the direction that it needed to fall in so with the assistance of the Landrover winch it came over nicely into the space made by removing some fence panels.
Arborists Lewis Cook and Joe Lawrence enjoying a break before having to shift the trunk!
The trunk loaded up and heading off site.
